IV settlements from January 1, 2024

The Disability Insurance (IV) informs that from January 1, 2024 it will 2024 all invoices without disposition number (case number for IV cases) and without an AHV number will be automatically returned to the invoice issuer. The insured person will receive the disposition number with the IV decision and can be requested directly from the IV. The entry of a pseudo number will no longer be permitted from January 1, 2024. Only with the correct disposition number can smooth invoice processing be guaranteed and rejection by the IV avoided. The responsible IVoffices may be contacted to request the disposition number if it is not available by other means. According to the IV, a prompt response is guaranteed. The IV office of the insured person's canton of residence is responsible in each case.
If a benefit must be settled before a disposition number exists, the code number of the IV office and the "280" can be entered. In the example of the Zurich IV office, this would be "301280". The "301" is the code number of the Zurich IV office.
All 27 IV offices in Switzerland have a 3-digit code number.
