Survey on the FOPH's cost containment pilot projects

Since January 1, 2023, pilot projects have been possible as a measure to contain the costs of compulsory health insurance (Art. 59bof the Federal Health Insurance Act [KVG]). The projects may deviate from the provisions of the KVG in certain areas. The areas are listed in Article 59bparagraph 2 KVG.

To date, only a few pilot projects have been submitted. The FOPH would therefore like to conduct a survey of healthcare stakeholders in order to determine their expectations and challenges and provide them with the best possible support during the planned process steps.
