As a psychotherapist I work with a systemic and hypnotherapeutic toolbox, which is enriched by Ego-State-Therapy, the work with personality parts.

At the beginning of therapy or counseling, there is the question of the assignment. What concern, what difficulty does someone bring with them? In order for client and therapist to know where to go, it must be clarified what the client's goal is. These important questions are not always easy to answer and sufficient time should be given to them.

Then the journey begins in small steps. The role of the therapist is less that of a guide and more that of a coach. In the sessions the client should learn more about his strengths, resources and abilities. They are what can be helpful to him in his situation. With the strengthened awareness of his own strength, the client tries to take steps in a desired direction.

Therapy or counseling can take more or less time. Sometimes it is about overcoming a difficult life situation. In this case, therapy is also to be seen as an accompaniment through adverse life circumstances. In other situations, it may be about an upcoming decision. In therapy, the questions asked can contribute to a deeper examination of the topic and subsequently to a clarification.
