FAQ about E-Log
SBAP members receive free access to the electronic training platform e-log. There you have the opportunity to record your training and further education and thus obtain an overview of your training activities. Our units are called "log points" on the platform.
When you register for the first time, you will need your SBAP. membership number.
The video instructions for registration and the manual for e-log can be found in the member area.
E-log calculates the units in log points, which is why an average value of 52.5 minutes per unit was defined, meaning that the training requirement is already fulfilled from 210 log points in three years.
The "self-study of specialist literature" must be entered as an "SBAP informal educational activity". The SBAP does not summarize the literature, but requires a bibliography as proof.
E-log will issue you with a certificate free of charge on February 1 of each year. All training courses attended must therefore be entered by January 31 of the year.
The e-log servers are located in Switzerland and these data protection guidelines (page 4/5 of the GTCs) are complied with. The information you provide can only be viewed by the SBAP. The operator (e-log) only has access in defined cases.
