Portrait

I completed my basic training in psychotherapy according to the person-centered approach of Carl Rogers. This humanistic view of the human being has influenced me in the sense that I search for personal solutions together with the client and trust in his/her ability for creative growth and constructive change.

In further training as a NARM psychotherapist (Neuroaffective Relationship Model by L. Heller), I supplemented my working methods with psychodynamic and body-oriented approaches.

Psychotherapy: The connection of the physical and the psychological level is a significant broadening of perspective for working with relational, developmental and attachment traumas. Further, I treat mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety disorders, panic attacks, compulsions, somatoform (psychosomatic) and personality disorders. If necessary, talk therapy is supplemented with technical means (neurofeedback or virtual reality).

If additional drug treatment is indicated in addition to the talks, this is done in consultation with Dr. med. Christian Dietrich, the psychiatrist in our group practice.

Neurofeedback: Depending on the topic, talk therapy can be supplemented with neurofeedback. This is a scientifically recognized training method where the brain learns to organize and regulate itself better. Neurofeedback can be used to treat various medical conditions such as ADHD, trauma, sleep disorders, stress and anxiety.

Psychotherapy is covered by the basic health insurance (KVG) via a doctor's order.
