New offsettable IV benefits

The Federal Social Insurance Office (FSIO) has drawn up a new remuneration regulation on behalf of the IV office, which will apply to psychotherapy services from July 1, 2024. In addition to the previous clarifications, treatments and assessments, meetings arranged by the IV office as part of the clarification and (re)integration process can now also be billed. This includes any waiting times as well as the time spent traveling to and from the practice to the meeting location.

Important: Psychotherapists who have not joined the IV collective agreement can also bill with the new tariff number 299.02 in the context of integration.
