Prerequisites

  • SBAP member
  • Professional experience in the field of psychotherapy an advantage but not mandatory
  • Motivation to participate in this commission

Advisory Board for the ZHAW MAS in Career and Academic Counseling

We are looking for a representative for the SBAP on the Advisory Board of the ZHAW MAS in Vocational Studies and Career Counseling.

Prerequisites

  • SBAP member
  • Further training in career studies and career counseling
  • SBAP specialist title in vocational studies and career counseling (an advantage)
  • Professional experience in vocational studies and career counseling
  • Motivation to cooperate

Ethics Committee

The SBAP Ethics Committee is available to advise on ethical and moral issues. It can be consulted in the event of uncertainties, difficult decisions or questions of understanding. The SBAP Ethics Committee does not make decisions itself, nor does it act as an appeal body.

Professional group psychological counseling

The aim is the strategic and professional exchange about the professional concerns of the members in the field of psychology (non-psychotherapy). The work of the section contributes to the advancement of the profession of psychologists who do not work in the psychotherapeutic field.

Psychotherapy Section

This specialist group supports the Executive Board in an advisory capacity and acts as a link between the day-to-day work of the psychotherapeutic profession and professional policy management. Professional policy issues are discussed and a professional exchange takes place. The work of the specialist group contributes to the advancement, implementation and critical scrutiny of the SBAP's strategy.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors consists of 2-7 members and performs all tasks that are not assigned to another body by law or the Articles of Association. The Board of Directors functions in the service of democratic cooperation according to the principle of collegiality and is divided into departments.

The tasks of the Board of Directors include the following:

  • Decisions on the strategic direction of the association and its development
  • representing the SBAP externally
  • the development of guidelines and specifications
  • the preparation of the business and execution of the resolutions of the General Meeting
